In a unexpected crossover event that challenges usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized announcement, "A strange meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of prohibited rituals and terrifying transformations resonate through the darkness." The narrative features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine cult.

The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
