An extensive two-month journey through Australia was terminated following the death of an senior lady who was left behind by the ship on a remote tropical isle.

Suzanne Rees had been walking on the remote island with shipmates from the cruise ship, but broke off from the excursion for a rest. The liner left without her and went back after some time after the personnel became aware the woman was unaccounted for.
